description: The first stage of design focuses solely on the development of two concepts. Computer generated 3-D modelling is a key component of this process to test the combination of forms, materials and functions in a way that is simply unachievable through traditional conventions such as a plan drawing. Fly-through visualisations and screenshots of each concept are presented to the client after which we welcome feedback to refine the design and achieve a single resolved outcome. This marks the departure point from the first stage and the design is ready to proceed to stage two design.
concepts: two, each presented in our meeting room at our office
output: 3D computer generated movies and screenshots, plants & materials pallette (provided on CD), AutoCAD plan (print out & CD)
